Default Team
When you create your FSkin account, a Default Team is automatically created for you. This is your personal workspace — all solo projects go here by default. The Default Team cannot be deleted, or have members added to it. It is always private and belongs only to you.
You can rename it (show us your creativity! 😀)
Creating a Team
Fill in team details
Enter a team name, optional description, and choose the visibility:
- Public — visible to invited members.
- Private — for you only.
Team Visibility
| Type | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Public | All assigned members |
| Private | Only you, if you want to invite others you must change the visibility to Public |
When a team is changed from Public to Private, all members except the owner are immediately removed from the team. This action cannot be undone.
Permission Levels
Members have one of four permission levels (Linux file permission values system, you get it I hope 😅):| Permission | Value | Read | Write (Projects & Skins) | Invite |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Owner | 777 | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Admin | 700 | ✓ | ✓ | — |
| Viewer | 400 | ✓ | — | — |
Inviting Members
Only the team Owner can send invitations.Transferring Ownership
The team owner can transfer ownership to any existing team member. The current owner becomes an Admin after the transfer.- Go to Team Settings → select the team
- Click Transfer Ownership
- Select the member to promote
- Confirm the transfer
Ownership transfer is permanent. Make sure you select the correct member before confirming. You will be downgraded to Admin immediately.
Removing a Member
Only the Owner can remove members from a team.- Open Team Members panel
- Click ⋯ next to the member
- Select Remove from Team
Removing a member revokes their access to all projects under that team immediately.
Deleting a Team
Only the Owner can delete a team. Deleting a team removes all projects and skins within it permanently.- Go to Team Settings → select the team → ⋯ menu → Delete Team
- Confirm the deletion
Teams that have projects cannot be deleted. You must first delete all projects within the team or transfer them to another team, then you can delete the team itself. For more on deleting projects, see Projects.
