Teams are the collaboration layer of FSkin. Projects live inside teams, and every member of a team can access the projects within it. You can create multiple teams for different apps, clients, or departments.

Default Team

When you create your FSkin account, a Default Team is automatically created for you. This is your personal workspace — all solo projects go here by default.
The Default Team cannot be deleted, or have members added to it. It is always private and belongs only to you. You can rename it (show us your creativity! 😀)

Creating a Team

1

Open Team Settings

Navigate to Team Settings in the left sidebar and click + Add Team.
2

Fill in team details

Enter a team name, optional description, and choose the visibility:
  • Public — visible to invited members.
  • Private — for you only.
3

Confirm

Click Create. You are automatically set as the Owner.
Each account is limited to 3 teams (including the Default Team) in the current alpha. This means you can create up to 2 additional teams.

Team Visibility

TypeWho can see it
PublicAll assigned members
PrivateOnly you, if you want to invite others you must change the visibility to Public
When a team is changed from Public to Private, all members except the owner are immediately removed from the team. This action cannot be undone.

Permission Levels

Members have one of four permission levels (Linux file permission values system, you get it I hope 😅):
PermissionValueReadWrite (Projects & Skins)Invite
Owner777
Admin700
Viewer400

Inviting Members

Only the team Owner can send invitations.
1

Open Team Members panel

Select your team → click Team Members on the right side panel.
2

Send an invitation

Click Invite Member, enter the email address, and select a permission level.
3

Invitation is processed

FSkin checks if the email is already registered:
  • Registered — the developer is added to the team immediately.
  • Not registered — the invitation stays pending. When they sign up, they are added automatically.
Pending invitations are visible in the Team Members panel under Pending Invitations. You can revoke any pending invitation at any time.

Transferring Ownership

The team owner can transfer ownership to any existing team member. The current owner becomes an Admin after the transfer.
  1. Go to Team Settings → select the team
  2. Click Transfer Ownership
  3. Select the member to promote
  4. Confirm the transfer
Ownership transfer is permanent. Make sure you select the correct member before confirming. You will be downgraded to Admin immediately.

Removing a Member

Only the Owner can remove members from a team.
  1. Open Team Members panel
  2. Click next to the member
  3. Select Remove from Team
Removing a member revokes their access to all projects under that team immediately.

Deleting a Team

Only the Owner can delete a team. Deleting a team removes all projects and skins within it permanently.
  1. Go to Team Settings → select the team → menu → Delete Team
  2. Confirm the deletion
Teams that have projects cannot be deleted. You must first delete all projects within the team or transfer them to another team, then you can delete the team itself. For more on deleting projects, see Projects.
For more on account-level requirements before deletion, see Account Management.
