Account Management

Your account is the foundation of your FSkin Dashboard experience. This section covers everything you need to know about authentication, signup, profile management, and account security.

Authentication

Sign in to your FSkin Dashboard account using one of our secure authentication methods. Authentication Methods

Email and Password

  1. Navigate to the login page
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click Sign In
  • Use a strong password with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters
  • Never share your password with anyone

GitHub OAuth

Authenticate quickly using your GitHub account:
  1. Click Sign in with GitHub on the login page
  2. You’ll be redirected to GitHub’s authentication page
  3. Authorize FSkin Dashboard to access your GitHub account
  4. You’ll be automatically logged in

Sign Up

Getting started with FSkin Dashboard is quick and easy. Choose the signup method that works best for you. Signup Options

Sign Up with Email

  1. Navigate to the signup page
  2. Click Sign up with Email
  3. Fill in the following information:
    • Email Address: Enter your email
    • Password: Create a strong password
    • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password
  4. Click Create Account
  5. Check your inbox for a verification link, to confirm your email address
  6. Your account is now active and ready to use
  • Use a valid email address that you have access to
  • Check your spam folder if you don’t see the verification email

Update Profile Information

  1. Go to SettingsAccount
  2. Update your profile details:
    • Display Name: Your name as shown in the dashboard
  3. Click Save Changes
Currently Fskin is under active development, we are planning to add more profile fields in the future, such as profile picture, bio, etc. Stay tuned for updates!

Account Deletion

If you decide to delete your account, we provide a straightforward process. Please note that account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Account Deletion

Before Deleting Your Account

Before requesting account deletion, you must complete the following steps:

1. Transfer or Delete Public Teams

If you own any public teams, you must either:
  • Transfer Ownership: Assign a new owner from your team members
    1. Go to Teams Setting → Select the team
    2. Click Transfer Ownership
    3. Select a new team member to be the owner
    4. Confirm the transfer
  • Transferring ownership is permanent. Ensure you select the correct team member.
  • If the team have 5 members, you can only transfer ownership to the other 4 members, you cannot add a new member in this case.
  • Delete the Team: Remove the public team entirely
    1. Go to Teams → Select the team
    2. Click Team Settings
    3. Click Delete Team
    4. Confirm the deletion
Why this requirement?
  • Orphaned teams without an owner create maintenance issues
  • Ensure team data remains accessible to active members

Delete Your Account

Once you’ve transferred or deleted all public teams:
  1. Go to SettingsDanger ZoneDelete Account
  2. Click Request Account Deletion
  3. Review the deletion confirmation details
  4. Read and acknowledge that this action is permanent
  5. Click Permanently Delete Account

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed: Direct Deletions:
  • Your account profile and credentials
  • Your personal settings and preferences
  • All projects related to your private teams (unless transferred)
  • All private skins associated with your projects
  • Your API keys and integrations
  • Your session data
  • Any private teams you own
  • Your membership in other teams
  • Your access to shared resources
You cannot delete your account if:
  • You own public teams without transferring ownership first
  • You have pending transfers or operations in progress
